Cavendishia adenophora

Cavendishia adenphora is a tropical blueberry from the cloud forests in Colombia. It has a large cluster of pink striped flowers surrounded by pink bracts, creating a large rose-like appearance. The plants grow vigorously and prefer cool temperatures, and can withstand low temperatures into the 40s. The plants will get large and produce large purple, edible berries after they flower. The berries are sweet and one of the best of the tropical blueberries. Plants are in 4"pots and have 12"-16" stems.
