This natural hybrid Pleione has large, dark pink flowers and is easy to grow and flower. It prefers cool temperatures with filtered sunlight, and should be kept moist during the growing season (March though October). It can easily be grown on a windowsill indoors. Pleione Barberae does require a cool dry rest from November until the new growths, with flower spikes, appear in March. The dormant pseudobulbs can be stored in the refrigerator in a paper bag, during this rest period. The pseudobulbs can be planted in February and kept dry until the flower spikes emerge from the new growth in March. The plants offered are in 4" pots with 3 flowering size pseudobulbs.
